Are you feeling energetic?
Hope so because today
Helen Chilton is giving us
a workout with the versatile
"This punchboard is designed to punch
3 sizes of tabs as shown here.
However you can do more with it than just that.
Punch on one side to get tab shape.
Punch both sides to create a different top to a tag
Create interesting card corners and layer up.
You can also easily cut any size tab by removing
the peg (try not to lose it like I did!) and
Here's a much smaller tab.
Different pattern again - don't know
what you'd do with this one!
This sort of 'houses and chimneys' effect
emerged as I was having a go in a workshop.
Punch on the fold and get interesting patterns.
Punch on the fold to make different shaped tab cards.
Here's a card idea using the chimney effect:
Stamp the Carabelle Studios windows
with Distress Oxide inkpads.
Spritz with water and....
Stamp round the edges in black
(a stamp positioner is great for this)
and then paint over some areas with more water.
Sponge ink round the edges and then stamp
the Kaisercraft Moroccan stamp along the roof line
and emboss in Frantage Aged Enamel Copper.
To finish stamp the Kaisercraft bricks round
the edges and emboss in a mixture of
Stampendous enamels: Frantage aged Aqua
and Ice Blue.
To finish: layer onto black card and add
an embossed Tando label."
